I love it when people tell me I can’t do something.
My family said I couldn’t make a living in service to others. Um. Yes, I have and can.
They said we couldn’t start a successful political action committee. I said, just watch and we have.
They said we couldn’t build housing for those with special needs in a nice neighborhood. Opps, we did that. Again, and again.
I’ve always been a stubborn one who loves to prove them wrong. Usually, they just don’t know enough. Or maybe, I don’t. I don’t know all the ways they think I’ll fail. Instead, I just go forward anyway. And sometimes that means finding any way forward. But always go forward.
Where can you believe in you even when others don’t?
Best,
Julie
