Julie Jakopic

An evangelist for human and community services leadership, Julie started her nonprofit career by running a nonprofit crisis line. She worked on policy as a research analyst at the National Association for State Community Services Programs (NASCSP), where she rose to Executive Director.

Since leaving NASCSP, Julie has continued to serve as a senior advisor to the federal Office of Community Services and to more than 2,000 non-profit leaders in more than 25 states, including serving as president of three organizations in her hometown of Alexandria, VA.

Julie is committed to helping leaders build resilient organizations that are ready to seize opportunities and provide them for others. She has shared the stage with luminaries like Pres. Barack Obama has been a TEDx speaker and talked about leadership and communications on ABC, CBS, NBC, and Vanity Fair.

When not working, Julie loves to create art, cook for friends and family, and spend time at the beach.
