I love October. Maybe it’s the crisp air. Maybe it’s my birthday. Maybe it’s Halloween. Or all three. I love spooky season. Hocus Pocus is among my favorite movies, and witch is my most frequent costume.
So it was no surprise that a friend sent me the witchy meme below. But the answer? That was a surprise. How many witches does it take to change a light bulb?
Not a number but another question, “Into what?”
What questions are you answering with the expected answer? How can you approach it differently?
One of my favorite tools is The Creative Whack Pack, a deck of creative solution cards. One of the questions asks, how would someone from a different field look at the problem. If you are social worker, how would an artist or engineer, or even a witch, look at the problem?
See what new ideas you come up with!
Have a great week,
Julie
What I’m learning this week: One of your most precious rights is the right to vote. The elections next week will hinge on a small number of individual votes. The first candidate I coached won by a mere 16. Your vote matters. Please use it. Need to know where to vote? Look here for where and when. And if you have time, reach out to your local campaigns to help.
