5 Free Tools That Will Make Managing Your Business Easier

Here at iLead Strategies Support, we like to help our clients deal with the stuff most people hate – scheduling, posting on social media, website support, billing and general organization. Below are just a few of our favorite tools to use for making our clients’ businesses (and lives) more efficient and streamlined. In no particular order, here are five free tools that can help make daily tasks less headache inducing:

1. Canva

This tool is great for making beautiful images for social media. There is an option for a free account, but an upgraded business account comes with more options for layouts and backgrounds. This is hands down the easiest tool to use that will make your social media posts look professional and attractive to potential clients.

2. Doodle

Doodle makes scheduling meetings a breeze. It takes no more than 3 minutes to set up. After inputting date and time options, you can send one link to all of your colleagues that are needed at the meeting, and their responses determine which time works best for all of you.

3. Dashline

Ever feel like you can’t keep up with the countless passwords you have for all of your different accounts? Dashline is a simple answer to this problem. With a free Dashline account, you can save all of your passwords and Dashline will automatically sign you in when you go to a webpage you have a password saved for. You can also share your passwords with others by sending them securely through Dashline.

4. Hootsuite

Making a commitment to posting on your business’ Twitter and Facebook page daily is daunting, but Hootsuite makes this goal so much easier to reach. With Hootsuite, you can take a list of a week’s worth of Twitter posts, schedule them to go on the days and times you want, and rid yourself of the tedious task of manually tweeting every day.

5. Asana

Asana is essentially a glorified to-do list.  With a free Asana account, you can make individual task lists for different projects, set deadlines, communicate easily with all of the people on the project, and ask for updates – all in one place. It’s a simple concept, but it makes communication for projects so much easier and allows you to avoid long strings of emails.
