Three years ago, a friend of mine received a deadly diagnosis. She found a treatment protocol and got her affairs in order, and then went about living her very best life. She took the trips, saw her friends and family, wore the costumes, got the legislation she cared about passed, all scheduled around her treatment. She outlived expectations by a factor of six, both in terms of time and what she put into and got out of her life.
The lesson she gave us was to pack your life with living. And while for her, it took a terrible prognosis to jump-start her life, we don’t have to wait. We can start right now.
There is no “right” time. The right time for the life you want is right now. Or you’ll be living the wrong life. What are you waiting to do? Schedule it now. Even better, just do it.
Let me know how it goes.
