It’s been more than 90 days since quarantine started. Places are opening up. The virus is still with us and increasing in half the country, while many are fighting for racial and social justice. We have made it this far and have a long way to go.
For the foreseeable future, we are looking at lots of remote service delivery, masks, physical distancing, and limited indoor gatherings and airline travel. So it’s time. Time to start moving forward anyway.
What does that actually mean for us? Most of us started 2020 with goals. Are they still relevant? If not, what’s replaced them? If they are, it’s likely the path to success has changed. Here are a few questions to get started rebuilding.
- What do you want? I mean really want, not what are you supposed to want. For work. For your family. For your community.
- What will it be like when you get it? What will it look like, sound like, smell and taste like, feel like – physically and emotionally?
- What needs to change in how you proceed?
- What is the first small step you can take in that direction?
We’ll be on Zoom on Monday to start sorting this out. Please reply for the link.
In the meantime, be good to you.
